Summary

CVE-2023-43346 is a newly discovered cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the opensolution Quick CMS version 6.7. A local attacker can exploit this weakness by injecting malicious code into the Backend - Dashboard parameter found in the Languages Menu component. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary scripts, potentially leading to unauthorized access, data theft, or system manipulation. Users are advised to upgrade to a patched version of Quick CMS as soon as possible to mitigate the risk.
