Summary

CVE-2023-43242 is a newly identified stack overflow vulnerability affecting D-Link DIR-816 A2 v1.10CNB05 routers. This issue can be exploited through the form2IPQoSTcDel with a maliciously crafted removeRuleList parameter. The vulnerability allows an attacker to send specially crafted packets to the affected device, resulting in a buffer overflow and potential takeover of the router.
