Summary

CVE-2023-43240 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the D-Link DIR-816 A2 v1.10CNB05 router. The issue lies in the ipportFilter feature, which contains a stack overflow vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted packets with malicious sip_address parameters, resulting in a buffer overflow and potentially taking control of the affected device.
