Summary

CVE-2023-4315 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Woo Custom Emails plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to and including 2.2, allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the wcemails_edit parameter. Successful exploitation relies on the user being tricked into performing an action such as clicking on a malicious link.
