Summary

CVE-2023-43119 is a newly identified access control vulnerability affecting Extreme Networks Switch Engine (EXOS) versions prior to 32.5.1.5 and 22.7, as well as 31.7.2. This issue permits unauthorized escalation of privileges through crafted telnet commands that target the Redis server. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability to gain elevated access and potentially execute further malicious activities on the affected system. System administrators are advised to update their EXOS installations to the latest secure versions to mitigate this risk.
