Summary

CVE-2023-42830 is a privacy vulnerability affecting macOS Ventura, iOS 16, and iPadOS 16. Prior to the release of versions 13.3, 16.4, and 16.4 respectively, an app could potentially access sensitive location information from log entries, contrary to private data redaction expectations. This issue has now been addressed with improved data redaction techniques in the latest software updates.
