CVE-2023-42770 is a vulnerability affecting Red Lion SixTRAK and VersaTRAK Series RTUs. When authenticated users are enabled, these devices will issue an authentication challenge over UDP/IP for Sixnet UDR messages. However, the same message received over TCP/IP bypasses this challenge and is accepted without verification, posing a potential security risk.
