Summary
CVE-2023-42470 is a Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability affecting the Imou Life com.mm.android.smartlifeiot application for Android versions up to 6.8.0. Maliciously crafted intents can exploit an exported component, specifically the com.mm.android.easy4ip.MainActivity, to execute arbitrary code. The WebView in this app enables JavaScript execution, allowing attackers to load malicious web content directly.
