Summary

CVE-2023-42461 is a new SQL injection vulnerability affecting GLPI (Gestionnaire Libre de Parc Informatique), a popular Free Asset and IT Management Software package. The vulnerability lies in the ITIL actors input field found in the Ticket form, which can be exploited by attackers to inject malicious SQL commands. This issue can potentially compromise sensitive data and lead to unauthorized access to the system. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to the latest version (10.0.10) of GLPI to mitigate this risk. At present, there are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
