Summary

CVE-2023-42436 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the presentation feature of GROWI versions below 3.4.0. This issue allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts into a targeted website, which can then be executed in the user's web browser when they visit the site. Successful exploitation could lead to the theft of sensitive information or unauthorized system access. Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade their GROWI installations to version 3.4.0 or later to mitigate this risk.
