Summary

CVE-2023-4223: Chamilo Learning Management System (LMS) versions prior to 1.11.24 contain a vulnerability in `/main/inc/ajax/document.ajax.php`. This issue allows authenticated attackers with learner access to execute arbitrary code remotely by uploading PHP files with unrestricted file upload functionality. Successful exploitation could result in significant security risks and potential data breaches. Attackers could install malware, gain unauthorized access to sensitive information, or perform other malicious activities. It is strongly recommended that affected organizations upgrade to the latest version of Chamilo LMS to mitigate this risk.
