Summary

CVE-2023-4213 is a vulnerability affecting the Simplr Registration Form Plus+ plugin for WordPress. This issue allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions or above to bypass authorization and gain unauthorized access to system resources, including the ability to change user passwords and potentially take over administrator accounts. The vulnerability stems from the plugin's failure to properly secure access to certain objects, resulting in Insecure Direct Object References. WordPress users are advised to update the plugin to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
