Summary

CVE-2023-4202 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affects Advantech EKI-1524, EKI-1522, and EKI-1521 devices up to version 1.21. Authenticated users can exploit this vulnerability by inputting malicious scripts in the device name field of the web-interface. Successful attacks may result in the execution of these scripts on other users' sessions, leading to unauthorized access, data theft, or website defacement. Users are advised to update their devices to the latest firmware to mitigate this risk.
