Summary

CVE-2023-41984 is a vulnerability affecting multiple Apple operating systems, including macOS Ventura, tvOS, iOS, iPadOS, macOS Monterey, watchOS, and macOS Sonoma. The issue was resolved through enhanced memory management. This vulnerability posed a significant risk, as an application could exploit it to gain kernel privileges and execute arbitrary code. The affected systems have been patched in macOS Ventura 13.6, tvOS 17, iOS 16.7, and iPadOS 16.7, as well as in macOS Monterey 12.7, watchOS 10, iOS 17, and iPadOS 17, and macOS Sonoma 14.
