Summary

CVE-2023-41982 is a vulnerability affecting Apple devices, including macOS Sonoma, watchOS, iOS, and iPadOS. This issue allows an attacker with physical access to potentially gain unauthorized access to sensitive user data through Siri on a locked device. The vulnerability has been addressed in updates macOS Sonoma 14.1, watchOS 10.1, iOS 16.7.2 and iPadOS 16.7.2, and iOS 17.1, as well as iPadOS 17.1. Users are strongly encouraged to install these updates to protect against potential unauthorized access.
