Summary

CVE-2023-41946 is a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Jenkins Frugal Testing Plugin version 1.1 and older. This issue allows malicious actors to connect to Frugal Testing using fraudulent credentials, gaining unauthorized access to retrieve test IDs and names linked to the attacker-supplied username, if a valid credential exists. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unintended test executions, sensitive data exposure, or other unauthorized actions within the Jenkins environment. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to a patched version of the Frugal Testing Plugin to mitigate this risk.
