Summary

CVE-2023-41944 is a vulnerability affecting the Jenkins AWS CodeCommit Trigger Plugin version 3.0.12 and prior. This issue stems from the plugin's failure to properly escape the queue name parameter in form validation URLs when rendering error messages. An attacker can exploit this HTML injection vulnerability by injecting malicious code into the error message, potentially gaining unauthorized access to user data or executing arbitrary code. Jenkins users running affected plugin versions are advised to update to the latest patch as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
