Summary

CVE-2023-41942 is a newly discovered cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting the Jenkins AWS CodeCommit Trigger Plugin version 3.0.12 and earlier. This issue enables attackers to execute malicious requests on behalf of an unsuspecting user, leading to the clearing of the Simple Queue Service (SQS) queue. Successful exploitation could result in significant data loss or unauthorized queue modifications. Users are strongly urged to update their plugins to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
