Summary
CVE-2023-41940 is a stored XSS vulnerability affecting the Jenkins TAP Plugin version 2.3 and earlier. The issue stems from the plugin's failure to properly escape TAP file contents. An attacker who can manipulate TAP file contents can inject malicious scripts, posing a significant security risk. Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access or data theft.
