Summary
CVE-2023-41879 affects Magento LTS, the official Long-Term Support (LTS) codebase of OpenMage. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated access to guest orders through a "guest-view" cookie containing the order's "protect_code." The protect_code is a 6-hexadecimal character string, potentially vulnerable to brute-force attacks. Each order requires a separate attack, increasing the complexity but not eliminating the risk. Versions 19.5.1 and 20.1.1 have been released to address this issue.
