Summary

CVE-2023-41867 is an unauthorized Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions 8.6.2 and below of the AcyMailing Newsletter Team plugin for Joomla. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts through specially crafted URLs, potentially gaining control over users' web sessions or stealing sensitive data. Successful exploitation requires no authentication and can cause significant security risks for affected websites. Users are strongly advised to update their AcyMailing plugin to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this threat.
