Summary

CVE-2023-41861 is an unauthorized Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions 2.2.4 and below of the Restrict plugin. An attacker can exploit this issue by injecting malicious scripts into a website's URL, which is then reflected in the webpage viewed by other users. Successful exploitation can result in the theft of user data, session hijacking, or further unauthorized actions. Users are advised to update their Restrict plugin to a latest version to mitigate this risk.
