Summary

CVE-2023-41835 is a vulnerability affecting Struts framework where, when a Multipart request exceeds the maxStringLength limit, the upload files are not deleted even if the request is denied. This issue can result in unintended file retention in the struts.multipart.saveDir directory. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to Struts 2.5.32 or 6.1.2.2, or Struts 6.3.0.1 or later versions to address this vulnerability. Failure to apply the patch may lead to potential unauthorized access or data disclosure.
