Summary

CVE-2023-41654 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting versions 2.5.8 and below of the authLdap plugin by Andreas Heigl. A successful exploit of this vulnerability allows an attacker to perform unauthorized actions on behalf of a user, by tricking them into visiting a malicious website or clicking a malicious link. The attacker can then use the user's session to submit malicious requests, potentially leading to data theft or unintended changes to the targeted system. Users are strongly advised to update their plugins to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
