Summary

CVE-2023-41257 is a type confusion vulnerability affecting Foxit Reader 12.1.2.15356. Maliciously crafted Javascript code within a PDF document can exploit this issue, resulting in memory corruption and arbitrary code execution. To trigger the vulnerability, a user must open the malicious file. Additionally, exploitation is possible through visiting a specially crafted, malicious website if the browser plugin extension is enabled.
