Summary
CVE-2023-41238 is a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the UltimatelySocial Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons plugin versions 2.8.3 and below. An attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious code into a website, which may be using this plugin, via a specially crafted URL. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized script execution in users' web browsers, potentially resulting in information disclosure, session hijacking, or other unintended actions.
