Summary

CVE-2023-41161 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Usermin 2.000. This issue comprises multiple stored cross-site scripting (XSS) bugs. An attacker can exploit these vulnerabilities by injecting malicious scripts into the key comment field of various pages, including public key details, Export key, sign key, send to key server page, and fetch from key server page tab. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML codes on unsuspecting users' browsers. These vulnerabilities pose a significant risk as they can lead to data theft, account takeover, and other malicious activities. It is highly recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of Usermin to mitigate this threat.
