Summary

CVE-2023-41156 is a newly discovered Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This issue affects Usermin version 2.001 and can be exploited through the filter and forward mail tab. An attacker can inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML by creating a new filter with a specially crafted name in the "save to new folder named" field. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to execute malicious code on the affected user's account, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data theft. Users are strongly recommended to update their Usermin installation to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
