Summary

CVE-2023-41073 is a newly disclosed authorization issue affecting multiple Apple operating systems, including macOS Ventura 13.6, tvOS 17, iOS 16.7, and iPadOS 16.7, as well as older versions of macOS Monterey, watchOS 10, and upcoming releases of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, and macOS Sonoma 14. This vulnerability stems from an inadequate state management mechanism, allowing an app to potentially gain unauthorized access to protected user data.
