Summary
CVE-2023-40970 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting version 9.6.1 of Senayan Library Management Systems SLIMS Bulian's circulation module. An SQL injection flaw is present in the loan_rules.php file under the admin directory. Malicious actors can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious SQL code through user input fields, potentially gaining unauthorized access to sensitive data or even taking control of the system.
