Summary

CVE-2023-40955 is a SQL injection vulnerability affecting Didotech srl Engineering & Lifecycle Management (pdm) versions 14.0, 15.0, and 16.0. The flaw is located in the base_client.py component and permits a remote, authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code by manipulating the select parameter. Successful exploitation could lead to significant unintended consequences, including data theft, system compromise, or unauthorized access. The vulnerability has been remedied in the updates pdm-14.0.1.0.0, pdm-15.0.1.0.0, and pdm-16.0.1.0.0.
