Summary

CVE-2023-40712 is a vulnerability affecting Apache Airflow versions prior to 2.7.1. This issue enables authenticated users with access to view tasks and DAGs in the UI to construct specific URLs, potentially revealing the secret configuration of tasks. These secrets would normally be concealed in the UI. To mitigate this risk, it is strongly recommended that users upgrade to Airflow version 2.7.1 or later, as this release has addressed the underlying vulnerability.
