Summary
CVE-2023-4070 is a type confusion vulnerability affecting Google Chrome versions prior to 115.0.5790.170. This issue, classified as high severity by Chromium, enables a remote attacker to perform arbitrary read/write operations through a specially crafted HTML page. The vulnerability exploits a flaw in V8, Chrome's JavaScript engine, allowing an attacker to manipulate memory in an unintended way.
