Summary

CVE-2023-40575 is a vulnerability affecting FreeRDP, an open-source implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). The issue involves an Out-Of-Bounds Read in the `general_YUV444ToRGB_8u_P3AC4R_BGRX` function. This vulnerability is believed to be caused by insufficient data for the `pSrc` variable, leading to crashes. Impacted versions of FreeRDP need to be upgraded to version 3.0.0-beta3 to mitigate this issue. At present, there are no reported workarounds for this vulnerability.
