Summary

CVE-2023-40528 refers to a vulnerability that enabled apps to bypass Privacy preferences. The issue was rectified by eliminating the susceptible code in tvOS 17, watchOS 10, macOS Sonoma 14, iOS 17, and iPadOS 17, as well as macOS Ventura 13.6.4. Prior to this patch, users' privacy settings may not have been effectively enforced, potentially leading to unintended data exposure.
