Summary

CVE-2023-40441 is a resource exhaustion vulnerability affecting iOS 16 and iPadOS 16, as well as macOS Monterey. The issue stems from insufficient input validation when processing web content, which can lead to an exhaustion of resources and result in a denial-of-service condition. Apple has addressed this concern in the latest iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 releases, as well as in the upcoming macOS Sonoma 14.
