Summary
CVE-2023-40375 is a local privilege escalation vulnerability affecting IBM i application servers running on versions 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, and 7.5. A malicious actor with command line access to the host operating system can exploit this flaw to escalate privileges and gain root access to the system.
