Summary
CVE-2023-40374 is a denial-of-service vulnerability affecting IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows versions 11.5. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specifically crafted query statement to the Db2 Connect Server, causing it to become unresponsive and denying access to legitimate users. IBM's X-Force team has assigned ID 263575 to this issue. Users are advised to apply the recommended patches or updates from IBM to mitigate this risk.
