Summary

CVE-2023-40151 is a vulnerability affecting Red Lion SixTRAK and VersaTRAK Series RTUs. If user authentication is not enabled, an attacker can execute commands with the highest privileges by sending a Sixnet UDR message over UDP/IP. Conversely, the same message sent over TCP/IP will be accepted without an authentication challenge. This weakness could lead to unauthorized access and potential system compromise.
