Summary
CVE-2023-40091 is a recently disclosed vulnerability that affects the IncidentService component. In the function "onTransact" of IncidentService.cpp, there is a memory corruption issue leading to an out-of-bounds write. This vulnerability could be exploited to escalate local privileges without requiring any additional execution privileges. Notably, user interaction is not necessary for an attacker to successfully exploit this vulnerability.
