CVE-2023-39986 is an Out-of-bounds Read vulnerability found in Hitachi EH-VIEW (Designer). This issue puts affected installations at risk of information disclosure. A local attacker can exploit the vulnerability by getting the user to open a malicious file. Importantly, this vulnerability only impacts EH-VIEW versions no longer supported by the maintainer.
