Summary

CVE-2023-3996 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the ARMember Lite plugin for WordPress. This issue, present in versions up to 4.0.14, arises due to insufficient sanitization and output escaping of input in the admin settings. Authenticated attackers, with administrator-level permissions or higher, can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious web scripts. The scripts are executed whenever an injected page is accessed, posing a threat primarily to multi-site installations and those with unfiltered_html disabled.
