Summary

CVE-2023-3982 is a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the omeka/omeka-s repository before version 4.0.2, hosted on GitHub. Malicious scripts can be injected and stored within the repository, which may be executed in users' browsers when they view an affected page. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal sensitive information, perform actions on behalf of the user, or redirect the user to malicious websites. Users are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of omeka-s to mitigate this risk.
