Summary

CVE-2023-39542 is a code execution vulnerability affecting Foxit Reader 12.1.3.15356. This issue lies in the Javascript saveAs API, which allows a maliciously crafted file to create arbitrary files. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by tricking a user into opening a specially designed file or visiting a malicious site with the browser plugin extension enabled. Successful exploitation can result in remote code execution.
