Summary
CVE-2023-39530 is a vulnerability affecting the PrestaShop open source e-commerce platform. Prior to version 8.1.1, the CustomerMessage API allowed unauthorized users to delete files from the server. This issue poses a significant risk, as it can lead to data loss or even system compromise. Version 8.1.1 includes a patch to address this vulnerability, and no workarounds are currently available. It is strongly recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of PrestaShop to mitigate this risk.
