Summary

CVE-2023-39528 is a vulnerability affecting the open-source PrestaShop e-commerce application. The issue lies in the `displayAjaxEmailHTML` method, which, prior to version 8.1.1, allows unauthenticated attackers to read any file on the server. This potentially includes files outside of the project, posing a significant risk if the server is not properly secured. Version 8.1.1 includes a patch to resolve this vulnerability, and currently, there are no known workarounds for affected versions.
