Summary

CVE-2023-39526 is a critical vulnerability affecting the PrestaShop open source e-commerce platform. Versions prior to 1.7.8.10, 8.0.5, and 8.1.1 are susceptible to remote code execution and arbitrary file writing through SQL injection attacks in the back office. Successful exploitation allows attackers to gain complete control over the affected systems. The latest versions, 1.7.8.10, 8.0.5, and 8.1.1, include patches to address this issue. No known workarounds exist, and it is strongly advised that users update their PrestaShop installations immediately to mitigate the risk.
