Summary

CVE-2023-39518 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions 1.0.0 through 1.0.3 of the social-media-skeleton project. This unfinished social media platform, which utilizes PHP, MySQL, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML, allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into the website's pages. These scripts can be executed whenever a user visits a specially crafted link or interacts with a manipulated post. The vulnerability is now fixed in version 1.0.3.
