Summary

CVE-2023-39276 is a post-authentication stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability affecting the SonicOS getBookmarkList.json URL endpoint. Successful exploitation of this weakness can lead to a firewall crash. An attacker could potentially send maliciously crafted data to the endpoint, overwriting memory and causing the firewall to crash, resulting in a denial-of-service condition. It is recommended that affected organizations apply the necessary patches to mitigate this risk.
