Summary

CVE-2023-39222 is a critical OS command injection vulnerability affecting various FURUNO SYSTEMS wireless LAN access point models and firmware versions. Authenticated users can exploit this issue by sending a crafted request to execute arbitrary OS commands that should not be executable through the web interface. The affected products include ACERA 1320, ACERA 1310, ACERA 1210, ACERA 1150i, ACERA 1150w, ACERA 1110, ACERA 1020, ACERA 1010, ACERA 950, ACERA 850F, ACERA 900, ACERA 850M, ACERA 810, and ACERA 800ST. These devices are vulnerable when running in ST (Standalone) mode. Successful exploitation could lead to significant unintended consequences, making it essential for users to update their firmware as soon as patches become available.
